Resin-Bonded Prosthesis in Posterior Area to Prevent Early Marginal Bone Resorption in Implants Placed at Tissue Level

چکیده
Aim: To evaluate the effect of resin-bonded prosthesis (Maryland bridge) on marginal bone remodeling implants placed at tissue level in posterior region. Methods: Consecutive healthy patients (n = 46) were included this clinical study. Flapless not-submerged with cover screws exposed and positioned approximately 0.5 mm above level. Patients received implant a temporary (RBP) 22) or only 24). The RBPs kept place for 3 months removed before impressions. custom-made abutment provisional resin crowns followed by definitive cemented metal–ceramic after 2–3 weeks. (MBL) was evaluated single-blind condition scanned periapical radiographs assessed mesially distally (MBL-M/MBL-D). levels adjacent teeth (CEJ-M/CEJ-D) modification area between mesial/distal (Area-M/Area-D) measured. All measurements made 1, (pre-loading time) 12 (post-loading time). Linear regression models fitted to existence any significant difference. Results: A total 44 (20 Female, 24 Male; Mean age: 53.9 ± 10.3) completed Two excluded fractured RBP de-bonding. drop-out 4.3%. After months, all free from complications. No peri-implantitis mucositis observed. group showed most stable MBL (−0.07 0.41), statistically different non-RBP (−0.67 0.52). CEJ-M CEJ-D both groups. Conclusion: proposed approach use creates more around level, resulting reliable technique protect mechanical occlusal trauma during healing period osteointegration.

Radiographic Evaluation of Marginal Bone Loss Following Immediate and Delayed Implantation
Background and Aim: Intraosseous implants can be placed using three different techniques: immediate, early, and delayed. The aim of this study was to compare the changes in the marginal bone level around implants after immediate and delayed im-plant placement. Materials and Methods: In the present prospective cohort study, 26 implants were placed in 26 patients divided into two groups. In grou...
متن کاملAppositional bone formation in marginal defects at implants.
In a previous experiment, it was demonstrated that a wide marginal defect around an implant can heal with a high degree of osseointegration. The present experiment was performed to evaluate the degree and quality of de novo bone formation and osseointegration in marginal defects adjacent to submerged titanium implants. All mandibular premolars and 1st molars were extracted in four Labrador dogs...

Although dental implants continue to provide consistent and predictable treatment options for most patients, some people with uncontrolled systemic disease may be denied implant treatment. Diabetes is one such disease. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, diabetes is a leading cause of blindness, kidney failure, and amputations of the lower extremities. These compli...

متن کاملEvaluation of Marginal Bone Level around Platform - Switched Implants
Purpose: The long-term success of an implant depends on the stability of bone support for the implant. Most crestal bone loss occurs in the first year of implant placement. Platform-switching is an approach which can be clinically applied to preserve the crestal bone. The concept of ‘platform switching’ refers to the use of a smaller-diameter abutment on a larger-diameter implant collar. The pu...
